In order to file a complaint, you need to register first. Here are the steps you need to take to register for the NCSC Grievance Management Portal:
- When you go to the official website of the NCSC portal, the home page will be shown to you.
- On the homepage, click the “Online Complaint Registration” link in the sidebar menu just below “Related Links.”
- You will see a page where you can log in. (Since you have to log in before you can complain,)
- Where is the “new user” option on the page where you sign in, just below the form? Register. Click on the option to register.
- Then, a new page will open with the name of the user who registered.
- You have to fill out this form with your name, your father’s name, address, mobile number, Gmail ID, Aadhar number, and a password of your choice. After you’ve filled out all the information, click the “Submit” button.

- Click on the option of lodge complaint.
- Enter login details.
- After logging in click on the option of “Check Complaint Status”.
- A new page “ search complaint.” with a form will be displayed.
- Enter the complaint date, to date, state, district, complaint number, victim’s name, mobile phone number, e-mail address, and current status, then click “Search.”
- Then your complaint status will be shown.
